Blue Weber agave fields in San Juanito de Escobedo, Jalisco
Third-generation tequila makers

Origin
has character.

A producing house of agave spirits in San Juanito de Escobedo, Jalisco. Three generations of a tequila family still working with the same knowledge of the field and the still.

01 · Our story

A story built around agave.

Our story begins in Jalisco, among the fields, the agave, and knowledge passed from generation to generation.

Don Lorenzo GaytánFirst generation

The legacy starts with Don Lorenzo Gaytán, master of the family's first tequila generation, whose teachings took root between El Salvador, the Sierra de Tequila, and El Arenal.

Over time, that craft passed to his children. Everardo Gaytán Rosales, second generation and founder of the producing house, carried field knowledge into a more contemporary and organized vision without giving up its artisanal character.

Today the third generation continues this story from San Juanito de Escobedo, Jalisco, under the guidance of Antonio Gaytán Barboza, the producing house's current master distiller. With him, family knowledge remains in use within an artisanal production that works with technical rigor.

The idea

The same craft, in third-generation hands.

Our identity comes from a family story tied to agave and the fields of Jalisco. That is where the house visual language takes its colors: agave green and aged bronze.

The house brands have different characters and one shared origin: knowledge passed between generations, and the way of making tequila that came with it.

Blue Weber agave is selected in the Valleys of Jalisco, and the distillate goes through a copper still twice. The same steps we learned from the generation before us.

Don Lorenzo Gaytán began this craft, and his children and grandchildren still work it.

02 · Our process

From agave to each expression.

Our method rests on precise measurement and on not rushing the clock. These are the stages from agave to bottle.

01
Agave cultivation and harvest
Agave Tequilana Weber blue variety with 6 years of field maturation in the Valles de Jalisco. Careful selection of agave hearts at their optimal sugar concentration.
02
Cooking or hydrolysis
Slow, even cooking in traditional masonry ovens, converting the agave heart's starches into fermentable sugars with a sweet, deep aromatic profile.
03
Milling and extraction
Crushing of the cooked agave on a mill train for clean separation and optimal extraction of its naturally sugar-rich juices.
04
Fermentation
Wild, natural fermentation without accelerants, with an infusion of fresh bagasse that strengthens the herbal, citrus, and fruit aromas of the terroir.
05
Artisanal distillation
Careful distillation in copper stills (and stainless steel depending on the expression), with double distillation in copper stills for select lines such as Trago Azul, keeping the purest heart of the distillate.
