Agaves D'Gaytan Reposado

The tequila heritage of Don Lorenzo Gaytán.

It comes from blue Agave Tequilana Weber with 6 years of maturation in the Valles de Jalisco, which Master Distiller Antonio Gaytán Barboza cooks in a masonry oven, crushes, ferments wild, and distills in copper and stainless-steel stills. Six months in American oak barrels give it its straw color, a dense body, and aromas of caramel, vanilla, and clove, with chocolate and agave honey on the palate. It is bottled at 35% Alc. Vol. and without additives.

History and heritage · Agaves D'Gaytan

The tequila heritage of Don Lorenzo Gaytán.

Agaves de Gaytán begins as a tribute to our first tequila generation and, especially, to the man who was our first master in this craft: Don Lorenzo Gaytán.

Our tradition has its roots in the town of El Salvador, Jalisco, in the sierra de Tequila, Jalisco. Over time, this legacy found a new home in El Arenal, Jalisco, where the foundations of what our tequila family stands for today took hold.

There, knowledge and respect for the agave passed from generation to generation: first to his children and later to his grandchildren, who learned it by working and refined it over the years.

All the agave we use in Agaves de Gaytán comes from the lands that belonged to Don Lorenzo Gaytán.

Among them are the last three harvests that maestro Lorenzo Gaytán planted, tended, and worked himself.

That is the inheritance we protect: the hard work of those who sustained the fields, and the love for that land.
